My Heart Is Full
My heart is full at this moment
Richly pleased of the bestowment.
No empty spots, there is nothing
More I need to be just beaming.
My heart is full of meaningful
Labyrinth maze, a breathless pull.
My heart is full joyously grand
When my sweetheart asked for my hand.
We'd walked on a beach in the sand
Hand in hand; future that we'd planned.
Teenage dreams of love and romance
Our life had begun a new dance.
My heart is full of angel hums
That held my breast, birth of our sons.
Infants of their own, perfect arts,
they crawled, snuggled, and stole our hearts.
My heart is full of anguished tears.
Happiness, grief, rage, hope, and cheers;
As crowds of faint stars that looked down
Upon me; slowly watched me drown
That'd glittered and winked in the dark;
He in a linen shroud laid stark
While I held my sweethearts' cold hand,
Half of me lost, couldn't understand.
My heart is full of God's ocean,
Of hope, courage, and devotion.
