My Poetry
Deserted by love when I was the one
When the life was aflame in conflict and strife
Such frightening haze that I couldn’t shun
The growing tidal wave of the storm of life
The lost sparkle of my rained out eyes
The clouds of despair overcast on life’s horizon
My laments, my moans, my anguish and sighs
You adorned like bride, like perfume swirled in vision
Your ravishing beauty your enchanting charms
Stole my heart and with it my anguish, my despair
My boundless love for you shattered all norms
My heart earned the passions rare
Let me cuddle, caress, style you and make up your eyes
Trim your eyebrows and sharpen your eyelash’s spears
Dress you with garments like starlit skies
Polish the glow of your nails and unfurl the clouds of your hairs
Your profound bounties: serenity, grace, tranquillity
My only craving, my adoration my only love
The urge of my soul, my expression, O my Poetry
Inseparable are we, my fairy of vision, my treasure-trove
