My Sunshine
My nerves quaked when the words
Flowed out of your mouth like magma.
Melting every point of guilt in me,
But soothing every good intention in me.
How painful the experience to recall,
But most painful the experience to restore.
But for imperfection in the blood and bone,
Perfection would have perfected itself so,
With goodness and mercy in the blood.
I have searched in the imperfect for perfection,
I have found contamination with imperfection.
When placed between the bad and the good,
I have often chosen the bad to the good
In defiance of reason, knowledge and wisdom.
It is either eclipse of the moon or eclipse of the sun.
It was almost a helpless situation in consistency run.
But you shone your light to illuminate my life.
For all the hopelessness became hope and came alive.
In my weakness you have remained strong,
In my negligence, faithfulness and care you show.
And I call you the epitome of beauty and hope.
Your rays radiate and permeate me with love.
I know nothing else to take me closer to God.
Believing forever that you are going to last forever,
My greatest desire is to last with you forever.
For none other can be like you but you.
My sunshine, keep shining in my life in full.
