Over land and mountains, valleys and hills,
Daring on your own – to cross a vast sea,
You told me you had done this all just for thrills.
Surely you’d had other reasons to travel
So far from home and for two whole years.
Even now, I feel my life with you unravel.
Your wanderlust engulfs you, blinding you to my tears.
