Love Poem: OMNIPRESENT

OMNIPRESENT

I stood with you through the pain,
calling out to you often, softly whispering your name.
I extended solace to you, with a fiery hand of vengeance,
My unbreakable promise.

You found comfort in your sorrows.
Rejecting my peace and embracing hate.
Habitually dreading your tomorrows, drowning in weakness,
Engulfed in a profound sense of shame.

You are a queen, a goddess, a rare bloom.
When I gaze at you, I see the sun.
You embody hope and love…my cherished daughter.
Equal to my beloved son.

In your state of neglect and your destitute ways,
You refer to yourself as a fatherless child.
When you cried, I washed your tears away.

“Why can’t you see me? I’ve been here all the while.

I gave you love despite feeling the urge to take your own life.
I’ve taken the bad and replaced it with good,
Yet you’ve turned away my gifts.
You feel you can’t go on, but I know you could.

For love, you call upon your imagination,
But false acceptance has its limitations.
It opens the doors of the fiery darts of satin.
It’s all an illusion, a trap to keep you in the dark.
The answer is right here, It’s within me not in the murk.

I’ve been here all along, my word is the truth.
I ache for the answer,
Why won’t you let me love you?”
