On Washing of Feet
When we go to an Indian village,
They wash our feet with divine reverence,
As we had seemed covered a great mileage,
They explicit mother-like temperance...!
In Hindu cultures, people wish to drink,
The water of whom they wash, so to link;
Their existence to the player of life,
That it might end with least of mundane strife...!
Who is great? Who is small? Was the question,
The server or the served? Complication?
When master washed the feet of disciples,
All remembered his lively parables...!
Just love, is the command, he dared to say,
Simply loving does not really pay;
Heavenly father, in all, has his way,
To those washing feet, his life in joy sway...!
