Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time there was a young gal,
Who went walking with a very good pal,
When she saw a boy with long dark hair,
She asked her friend who's that over there,
She said that boy he is bad news,
He will only give you blues,
You should just let him be,
Take my word and trust me.
She tries to forget those blue blue eyes,
She tries to forget oh my how she tries,
But in her mind he keeps on creeping,
Even while she's blissfully sleeping.
Then one day to her surprise,
She meets the boy with the blue blue eyes,
They start to talk and soon become friends,
She hopes this friendship never ends.
She is soon to discover,
That mean exterior is just a cover,
He was actually very sweet,
So glad she was they finally did meet.
Then one fine summer day,
He comes to her to say,
I know that we are only friends,
But this is where that that all ends,
I can not seem to get you away,
For in my mind you seem to stay,
Please say you'll give me a try
Come to me and don't be shy.
Hardly did she believe her ears,
Could it be after all these years,
We could be together,
And maybe it will last forever?
Soon they become a lovely couple,
And in that time the love did double,
Then came the day he went on his knee,
And he said to her will you marry me.
She said yes and soon they wed,
With love in the air those vows were said,
So in the end she married her friend,
And she knew in her heart it would never end
