One Word
Sound of the clock escalates louder,
The fly is becoming my main interest.
Lost and loaded, no trace of powder,
Anxiety wreck I detest.
Memories flaunt in my head,
The wings flap a bit harder.
Ticking progresses and hits dead,
frozen to be slaughtered.
Eyes don't hesitate to not blink,
Images are blurred.
Don't bother to think,
All this from one word.
Soliloquy moment that questions my sane,
Smiling to realize that words your name.
