Our Fire Died
Sometimes I cry so hard, from pleading.
Life has played a cruel card, I can't stop my bleeding.
I found a letter, just the other day.
You said I deserved better, what now could you say?
I walk alone, forever crying.
Thinking our love has grown, yet I know I'm lying.
I'm on the border line, about to embrace Death.
I am not fine, for i do not draw breath.
You are forever known, as the harvester of sorrow.
Touching my grave stone, you will not love me tomorrow.
When you're gone, I cannot get through.
I cannot move on, for I still love you.
I finally realize, that our fire did die.
I see in your eyes, the sorrow you cry.
The words I need to hear, are no more.
Tear after tear, my heart becomes so sore.
Sorry for the fights, and awful names.
I'll hit the lights, and bury the shames.
The most important thing, was you were love's host.
I remember you used to sing, "What hurts the most".
Not a day goes by, when you're not in my thoughts.
Do you still cry, after every night we fought.
Where do we go, it is up to you.
You should know, what we have to do.
I think about those times, when we had so much fun.
Who knew after all these rhymes, we'd be done?
Deep inside, I love you best.
I would've died, if it was up to the rest.
Something changed in this heart of mine.
Thought I was deranged, guess I'm fine.
I think about, only you.
I would shout, I love you.
Now I pout, because our love was so true.
