Parklings
Creatures small and creatures tall
Beings all, to grace the scene
Greet me on my morning walk
They serenade my stroll
In the park there sings a lark
Puppies bark on grasses green
Squirrels with little fluffy tails
Tease the morning sun
By the lake for Heaven’s sake
Ducklings make their way to preen
Swans in regal stature rule
And the world seems still
If we all, we creatures tall
Beings all, could just take note
Parklings. could we rather be
Sustained by nature’s love
