Parting
Leading us through the opening
Of love's glazed need,
Until the last flower wept
When one sigh brought the crescent moon
Down to our fingers wrapped by desire;
And though we sealed our eyes
With a delicacy of surrender,
Time parted our lips, then we left
For different seas, as fate would have it.
Moaning for another bed of craving.
