Pearls For You
I walked my life on the green garden path so very long,
until an untimely sudden storm came surging strong,
flowers lost in the chasm, made me rue.
As the dark clouds drifted away at the edge of night,
the glow of your grace in sunburst sky captured my sight,
my yearning for you soared in the blue.
In the mystique night a slice of moon shaped your face,
in aromatic air my dreams flew to you to fondly embrace,
as I soaked in the fervent stardust hue.
At sparkling dawn I’d take you to my mesmeric meadow,
where you’d see my longing glitter like dew, you’d know,
how my love made pearls to adorn you.
