Praise Him!
It happened on a lonely breath.
Joy unfolded beneath my hopes and prayers.
There was a still far more alive than anything I’d ever felt.
It happened when my heart breathed in His glory,
The music of praise filled my lungs with a sense of grace.
He had shown me the moment when His love would amaze.
He had loved me more than any thought I might have had of praise.
It happened when my heart fell silent,
When the music was bleeding heartfelt light,
When the memories were composed of gentleness,
When the ache of my soul knew a love far more intimate
Than any love that had ever been – love this alive, it is His gift.
It happened when He offered me a light,
Light softly playing on the secrets in my life,
Telling me that love can overcome all my pride,
Reminding me that His Spirit will forever abide,
He is the reason, the promise, the light… my whole life, -
Praise Him, whatever might come in this time.
Praise Him because of His love and sacrifice.
Praise Him because He is the only way to survive.
Praise Him because He is worthy of all our heart’s delight.
Praise Him because He is the way, the truth, the life!
Written by this heart who believes in the greatest gift alive,
The One who came to carry us through this life,
The One who came to give us the answer to each prayer,
The One who came to restore our souls to the One who prepares…
Our hearts to come home to paradise…
He is the answer to any doubt that arises.
He is the ONE I’ll be praising forever and always.
Praise Him!
He is worth every word, each treasure.
He is worthy of our heart’s best
He is worthy of every light we can shine
He is worthy of our love, all of the time
He is worthy of this PRAISE in my smile
He is worthy of this PRAISE that rises high…
To touch the light that will never die,
To touch the love that is His gift to you and I.
Praise Him – He is worthy, so worthy.
He is the One who lifted all my burdens.
He is the ONE who brings my life purpose.
He is the ONE who says I’m worth it –
Worth the love that He provides,
Worth the light that shines through all time,
Worth the wonderful that silences all hurting.
Worth the hope that saves me from worrying.
Worth the life that He gave to save me.
He will forever amaze this heart who loves Him.
And, I’ll always Praise Him – He is ever worthy –
He is the wonderful that lasts throughout eternity!
