Pure Like a Dove
When stars are perfectly aligned
A fervent eye will meet another
Never needing an introduction
Feeling like it just belongs there
Making a home without permission
Like a bird-nest in summer garden.
But it's a random occurrence;
Not everyone is welcome there,
When eyes hastily meet and greet
They don't always send a message
For heart has its own domain
Where entry is well guarded
Screening for the eye of deceit
It exercises controlling interest.
Every wanderer looking intently
Bounces off of so many faces
Missing the point of love
Pure like a dove, free like a bird,
Never should one try to catch it
Like a fish in shallow waters.
