Recognition
Thoughts stalled, senses withdrawn, almost, not quite,
intent being to meld with the vast void,
as we sought, so it was, we saw soul’s light,
aflame in our heart, pure and unalloyed,
whence the demons of darkness were destroyed.
Light of Self reclaimed, our life view shifted,
now knowing the fallen too are gifted
and that all will ascend in timeless time,
when aligned with love, by God’s grace lifted,
making easy mankind’s heavenward climb.
