Redemption
Like The sword of truth
His words stab at my heart.
He paces back and forth,
The determination of his goal,
Is now made evident in my mind.
Theough help, last I though needed,
Each word he spoke burned with sincerity
My hearts door opened once more,
My oldest friend entered once again
Upon his hands scars did show.
Proof of my constant sins
Yet a sign of hope and forgiveness.
This man, yet another instrument of God
Kept my soul on the straight and narrow.
