RELIGIOSITY
To truly be a Christian, saintly woman or man,
Not to have just a religion, but to be born again.
A new birth truly happens in the inner man,
by the blood of Jesus Christ though some if can’t understand.
Meats refrained, keeping the Sabbath, it doesn’t bother me,
Whatever makes a better person, or brings you liberty.
Respecting people’s differences, in each rightful place .
their beliefs and their diversities in each given race.
True religion is to truly love, God and man,
it is the faith of Christianity, the rock which we stand.
Win the heart and not the war, should be our only plight
Proclaim to show the Way who Jesus is, Truth and the Light.
God justifies the humble, not who think he is right.
It’s by my Spirit says the Lord, and not by power and might.
So why focus on the mote making your brother cry,
When you can’t see pass the beam that’s in your own blinded eye.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Not condemning one another for their inherent belief.
Yes the wheat and tares they grow together, if you please,
Spiritual battles to win are won upon your bended knees.
When the blind leading the blind, no one can really see,
When love is absent, all it is, re-li-gi’osi-ty.
