Remember
The porcupine and the panther,
Had no names.
They were both playing,
The waiting game.
"What for?" you ask,
"No one knows until the last."
When they danced among the leaves,
In the panther's nest,
In the trees,
High above the rest.
Continued twirling and whirling,
Around the world,
Until the day came when the music stopped!
Now forever apart,
Singing of the dancers,
In the trees,
Only the leaves know,
If they were pleased.
