Remember when our hearts were young
and your ship's path crossed mine.
We joined together...two ships became one...
as we set sail for adventure...excitement...and fun.
Each one of us is like a ship at sea...
setting sail from the port toward our destiny.
Then the clouds turned grey...the lightning struck...
our ship it seemed would soon be stuck.
Against the rocks...the hull did smash...
our world it seemed would start to crash.
You hung on tight to what you knew...
hoping it alone would get you through.
Drink of the potion for the right kind of distortion...
a dark voice whispers near.
It will drowned out all the thunder, and will take away your fears.
Then a voice cried...you must let go, or all will perish and this I know.
That young ship you hold is in a disguise...from aged old timber did it really rise.
With It's own life's journey is set in motion, in this vast earthly life,
it sails in the ocean.
Dawn is breaking...you must let go. The young ship it knows It's own way home.
Recapture the laughter, the stillness and more...
remember you need only knock on the door.
Together set sail and head toward the sun...
you may think you've lost...when you really have won!
