Resolve Problems Through Compromise
Not one to run when I hear an alarm,
But I have no desire to do others harm.
I try to defuse the stress with my charm,
And use wit and patience as I disarm.
No reason to sling arrows or try to be curt,
For lies and harsh words will only hurt.
No need to rub faces in the dirt,
To a time of calmness and peace I’ll revert.
Be open and mindful to find common ground,
A solution to problems can always be found.
Both sides of the issue, mentally write down,
Concede to each other, you’ll both come around.
Not one in their right mind really wants to hate,
God gave us our senses so we can relate.
It always takes effort, don’t rely on just fate,
To patch up the error with your loving mate.
So, focus on love and the life that you share,
Forgive one another, try to be fair.
Compromise lovingly, show that you care.
And life will be filled with little despair.
