Retreat
That resting's sideways mat
and resting's oblations seem exact
no thought defined, but to extract
life's residual interact!
I can't but bide in wait
God's asking is my fate,
what e'er the cost or blessing's loss
insolvent or belate!
In thee now only move
to strength as His denote,
no turning opposite as groove
does answer in remote!
Confiding self with care
perspectives safety ~ spare,
as loving thee nor harmony
retreats my every prayer!
In courage help me share
thy building up, not pare
no looking back, retractions act
configurations fare!
Retreat ~ the Soul's conform
as surely Faith is born
an action sin, confronts within
and Hope relates to scorn!
