As I count the days until this Spring's thaw,
darkly a shadow hangs over my head.
Your sweet memory for me holds it all
always a place waits your love in my bed.
Yesterdays- memories made of romance,
you stole the hot desires heating my mind.
That fantastic night, I taking a chance,
was then rewarded, your sweet love to find.
Darling, fly back to our palatial nest
from your distant first vacation retreat.
I exist only when loving you best,
and pray for the moment again we meet!
Upon distant shores, you leave my heart sad.
For we are everything we ever had!
