Ripple of Grace
Night lifts dark veil up above the silk sky,
dawn draws golden scene on horizon low.
Dancing hues entwine with the sunbeam shine,
paint my meadow where pearls of dewdrops lie.
Shadow of crimson cloud drifts on my face,
turns to yearning, in your heart’s sky it’ll fly
on cadence of colors rippling your grace.
On the canvas of my mind I descry
you as a wet leaf tinged by sunburst glow.
With the sunbeam shine dancing hues entwine
your lure with my soul till I say goodbye.
