As the rose unveils it’s beauty
To nature’s eager audience
On dawn lit hillside
Dancing modestly with glistening
Sun rays piercing through each drop
Of dew
All knowing and softly speaking
A fragrance of tranquility
Stem of prosperity, all
Betwixt in the secure armor of its
Thorns
It sends a silent message to
The field
A message of subtle elegance, yet a
Ready plan to thwart tyranny
And in all it’s honor, royalty and bold color
There lies the true sediment of its purpose
The beauty of love for which it’s was born.
