Love Poem: Running Free

Running Free

Together as one we shall always be
against the world just you and me
They look and judge but never see
for our love we are running free

Too young to dumb to understand
they never listen just command
Lock you in a room like a cell
away from you is living hell

Apart we could never be
we fled together running free
I am you and you are me
embrace as one plant a seed

Places unknown running far
the night is our blanket of stars
Jump the moon touch Heaven's gate
within ourselves is our escape

Our love young but our love is real
taste of honey more than a thrill
I cling to you as you cling to me
inside you lives our new baby

Running free running hard
Venus tumbles falling Mars
earth below screaming scars
back home bedroom window has bars.
