Rushing
Have you not even one moment within your busy day
Because before it ever went you never took time to pray
Have you not a moment to give the Lord His just praise
But instead using every bit in going about your ways
Not one act set aside or the thought entering your mind
For you have never tried in looking back it's this you find
Not so much as a nod, yet being blessed beyond belief
Well I'm here to prod and give you a little bit of grief
You already wasted so much, and distanced yourself so far
Having never felt His touch not knowing really who you are
And His protective Hand being over your friends and family
This I just CAN'T understand truly His Glory you can't see
Sit down and think about it and stop that rushing around
I pray your spirit to be lit that Jesus' Name will be found
He is expecting you and you wouldn't want to be late
But there's no balance due He paid the price of your fate
