Sagapo, Anna
SAGAPO, ANNA
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS
Your departure was silent never whispering adieu
A pointless existence without the nearness of you
Touching you, caressing you, again, never to know
The moment was stolen from me, to say, sagapo
Being without you was never a conscious thought
That painful reality for me, is now being taught
I cradle my pillow, sagapo, pretending its you
Going on alone is something I’m not sure I can do
Your absence erodes me, rush the day be it not far
I long so to join you, sagapo, my heavenly star
