Say Carpe Diem- and Enjoy
Kids never let a rainy day
deter enjoying a fun time;
no matter what, they go and play
regardless of the adverse clime.
They never save a sunny day
because tomorrow it may rain;
put it aside, pack it away-
use when the weather's bad again.
For adults, rainy days do change
our thinking on what's best to save.
Life's joys we sometimes rearrange-
stack them away and think it brave.
We must not put aside today
to save in rainy days' dark bank.
Tomorrow can be whisked away
forevermore, shut down, left blank.
So live today through rain or shine,
and like a child, spend all your joy.
No need to save life's gifts, resign-
say Carpe Diem, and enjoy!

Carpe Diem: Latin, means seize the day; enjoy the
present, as opposed to placing all hope in the future.
