Say You Love Me

Say you love me

I see it in your eyes
I see it in your smile
I see it in all you do
Why don't you just say it?

Say you love me

All my life I've waited
for you to appear

To share my life with,
to share my heart with,
to share the air
that I breathe

to have one heart,
pumping love's blood
through our united veins

I know you feel it!
Why can't you say it?

Say you love me

I tell you constantly
just how I feel

that my love for you
is genuine
really... real

You always say
thanks, or... I know,

once in a blue moon
you'll say... me too

Is that the best you can do?

My, I love you's are left
suspended in the air,
embarrassed,
naked, exposed,
because

there is no
warmth to cover my
private thoughts and feelings

Why is the door to your heart closed?
Why don't you answer me when I call?

I know you,
and I know that you love to be loved...

but do you know how to love?

Do you recognize that warm feeling
growing inside of you?

It is love isn't it?

Answer me please!!

when I call your name
When I say I love you

please...
please...
please...

...

...

say you love me...
