Sea Of Roses

In the splendorous sky of my ardent heart, shimmering with lazuline glow of indigo art, as you gleamed like the tinsels of the moon, I tried to absorb your sapphire sheen hewn, but you drifted away slowly out of my sight from sequined sky I shaped for you with delight. In the lilac bay of roses within my lavender heart, you charted a turquoise course for me to dart. I sailed on aquamarine dream in its tortuous trace, discerned the garnet glimmer of my love encase the mesmeric embrace of the blooming rose, its perennial patina on your florid face eternally froze. From the ebony edge of the languished life’s night, storm clouds surged with thunder of dismal plight, broke my sky of yearning into dispersed blue debris. I didn’t know how to make the buried dreams free from despair domain, but before time came to depart, I gathered the fragments of my shattered heart. These turned into red rose buds, blooming one by one, when you returned to my garden under the fervent sun. The aura of your beauty their luring luster transmitted, the fragrance of your blossomed love they emitted. The curl of petals like your smile set one flower apart, I plucked and floated it in the sea of roses in my heart.
