Seemed Like For Lifetime Together
Seemed Like for Lifetime Together
In and out of traffic we would weave
Until big city life, we finally did leave
For soft, smooth ride in the countryside
Residents comfortably continually abide.
We saw a hill here and dale over there
Great green valleys were everywhere
As raging river starting to open wide
Meeting ocean with a changing tide.
We now were in a lovely lavish resort
And right in middle could see a court
Main road in a circular pattern had run
Construction work was completed and done.
All of it to us was like a well-read satire
Wanted to read over and over and admire
Bliss erupted when you saw the expanse
Of birds, flowing flowers and pretty plants.
Once we found ourselves inside the room
Felt like we both were a bride and groom
And bed we laid in was beyond compare
Forever and ever wanted to stay there.
About her beauty started to tease and taunt
Left room and then headed for a restaurant
Planned meal of the day was a great steak
And nearby started to see a splendid lake.
Together it all created a breathtaking view
And from that moment on I always knew
Our love for each other would last and last
Were glad God had included it in His forecast.

If you would only be so kind as to make a comment
so I can tell who all read my poem I completed and
posted on Poetry Soup. Thank you so very much.
Some say that you should always assume consent
and sometimes wonder what that may have meant..
