Sharing Flavoites

Sharing Flavoites

I guess you never had it all
vanilla mountains melting down
almond peaks thrust ten feet tall
caramel dripping all around
cherries riding chocolate waves
raisins ever rising
sprinkles found in frigid caves
our tongues just realizing
The waffle cone
In tries its best
to hold on all that flavor
and you can barely stand the test
then lick your lips, to savor
every morsel that I taste
it renders you my rival
but this means more than Ice cream now
it's more like my survival
I hurry in the licking now
I claim it's melting fast
You hurry too,
you know what's true
this stuff's not made to last
But when we're near the end
what's melted must be sipped
Now the sweetest part of all
Is when I taste your lips

To My loving Wife
may we forever be able to share a bite
