She Is a Little Hen
She is a little hen,
Rambling in the meadows,
Wandering around the grasses often,
Pecks the maize falling from windows.
She is a little hen,
Yet a mother of ten;
Fills the stomach with her peck,
With her long flexible neck.
She is a little hen,
Dwells in her little den,
Cackles loud when her chicks cry,
Spreads her little wings to fly.
She is a little hen,
Wanders in the garden,
Stays away from hawks with pace;
Chirping sounds fills the place.
