Love Poem: She No Longer Smiles

She No Longer Smiles

She no longer smiles

She broke the one heart that loved her the most
 A realization paid with lateness
She now tents in the shadow of what used to be her happiness
Wishing for the past to be present
Cussing the devil every night for making her fall into that trap
That trap that deprived her of her happiness
She no longer smiles; her bitterness engulfs it all

Memories, memories keep her awake
With a tear on her cheek
Crying for the only person dear to her heart
She sees herself as the Judas Iscariot of his heart
With every fiber of her heart, she wants him back

She misses his laughs, hugs, kisses
An unforgivable sin, the knowledge that he is no longer coming back haunts her
What can she do with the love that she is left with?
Crippled thoughts of what will never be
She no longer smiles but she weeps

He went away with all his fairytales
Stories that he would whisper to her ears as she slips into a dream
She no longer smiles but she weeps
Love long gone, lost in confusion
 Replaced by bitterness and regrets
A mirror stolen from her, never to appreciate her beauty
She no longer smiles but she weeps.
