Shooting Star Serenade
She is my whole galaxy,
A vast expanse of love and light,
I swim within her starry depths,
And bask in her celestial might.
But I was her shooting star,
A fleeting moment in the night,
A brilliant flash that left her heart,
With a bittersweet delight.
I long to be her supernova,
To set her sky on fire,
To blaze across her firmaments,
And ignite her soul's desire.
But alas, I am a shooting star,
A transient wisp of cosmic flame,
My destiny is to fade away,
And leave behind a poet's name.
Yet though my time with her was short,
My love for her will never cease,
She is the brightest star in my sky,
My eternal source of peace.
I will cherish every memory,
Of our cosmic rendezvous,
And hold her close within my heart,
Until the stars ignite anew.
Oh, my dearest love, my galaxy,
Forgive me for my fleeting flight,
For though am a shooting star,
My love for you will burn forever bright.
