Love Poem: Sing Your Heart

Sing Your Heart

Sing your heart boy and girl, and your flag will unfurl,
Catch the sun, surf the breeze, don't spend life lost in trees,
But embrace each new day, DREAM, AND make time to play,
Your 'heart shows on your sleeve?' That's no sign that you grieve!

As you rise on life's mast, don't look down on your past
Want great life, love to feel, stop resisting what's real!
Sing your heart, find your voice, how can silence be choice?
And more courage you’ll find will improve peace of mind!

What you fear losing most? World's best jam spread on toast!
And it's already there! It's your life, let's be fair!
Yours is not 'gift' of tune? What the hell! Wake the moon!
A moon gone from your sky will return by and by!

Hear a coyote yell, is he sad, can you tell?
Well, he's feeling for sure, not just waif, immature!
Does he miss his lost bride or is she by his side?
Are there cubs in their lair? What is there to compare?

Life’s not fair you protest, buried deep in your nest,
Is each moment not fair and a necklace to share,
Just like beads on a string? Need to give her a ring?
Must it be through her nose? Let life dance on HER toes!

To be loved? Sing your heart! Where’s place better to start?
And let gravity pull those whose mass is not bull-
Pucky. Let me be kind! Please don't fear what you find,
For the love that you see, is your true sanity!

Sing your heart when you can but adopt as your plan
An intention to serve God and pray for more nerve.
But I humbly suggest, to be humble is best.
For defending man's sin is a war you can't win!
