Sister Love
Some say
that many, many, many moons ago
and then more than that
parents learned that being light
and love
and real
was dangerous
very, very,very dangerous
and then more than that
so out of love for their children
mother love
father love
they punished their children for being.
And those children who
learned not to be
out of fear of punishment
became parents
of light and love
and real
and it was dangerous
and they were frightened
so they punished
out of love.
And those children became parents
and so on.
Some say that
we are starting to realize
that the danger is the lie
there is nothing to fear
and that children
and adults
needn't be punished
for being.
There are better ways to love.
There are better ways to live.
