Some Other Day, Some Other Time
Alone was I without condole nor ease.
Indebted to the world was only me-
My parents taken too young from disease,
but rich in hope and faith I would agree.
Affection of a husband not bestowed,
abandoned with remorse when I was born-
I walked a path where cruel pain did explode,
betrayed in my heart with a smile forlorn.
I live now in a home too wee to see.
An artist with no gift to spark her muse-
I fear love shan’t prevail without decree,
forsaken walking in my mother's shoes.
For I am but a girl who loathes her life-
at no time shall I be a mom nor wife.

I chose Allie Hamilton from "The Notebook"
Plot about a girl raised rich in wealth who falls in love with a regular hard working young man named Noah. They find their way back to each other and get married. He built her a huge house to live in when he was young. She suffered from Alzheimer's when she was old and grey and Noah reads her a "notebook" he kept of their love story. They have children also. They end up dying together in her hospital bed at the end of the movie. She lived a long life with Noah and they just couldn't live without each other.
