Love Poem: Sometimes Love Is Not Enough

Sometimes Love Is Not Enough

Sometimes love is not enough,
Like melting wax on a candle
As it's burns, vanishes into a kiss.
You pour every ounce of love
Hoping that what you give
Will come back to you.
Those that love too much
Are the ones that get hurt,

But,

They're the center of your universe.

Like

An Ocean is not an ocean
Without briny breeze.
The nascent, lulling movements
From its eternal depths;
The seagulls that soar above her surf.

Where the murmur ambience
Above the endless horizon
Meets the indigo sea.

Where the brimming laden stars flicker,
Whirl loud beneath a bright blue sky
And the green blade of the herbal sweet sedge.
Where, in and out the bees, butterflies,
And hummingbird flutter to savor
Nectar from a chalice of fragrance of flowers.

There is no shame in crying tears
Where love is not enough
Fall to the living soul
Mood as gray as the sky,
Which the sun finishes.
Slowly, leisurely with pure contentment
Romance to whom love will be
The taste of wine
And stroll upon her beach alone.
