Splendor of Love
Sometimes late at night I smell your scent,
Piquancy of my senses saturated in delight-
Lover of mine, you have been heaven sent,
Encompass me in your strong arms tonight.
Nevermore shall I be with another man.
Dark chestnut eyes that deep into my soul,
One of a kind are you and no one else can
Relieve my torment and make me whole.
Other people will never be able to comprehend,
For when I am wounded your heart does mend.
Loyalty you bestow and you make me see
Over and over again your intense affection.
Very sincerly you prove your vows to be
Eternal as we share a perpetual connection.
