Stars Witness
The clock ticks.
Fervently my heart beats faster,
Gaze intently at the hushed dark night-sky studded with scintilating stars,
With a glorious full Moon strangely gleaming till the resplendent dawn emerges,
Ardently ponder about the fascinating days
We spent together!
Stars, stars, you are inexplicably quiet,
luminous you shine,
Are you going to keep our captivating story
Concealed in your hearts,
Although the story is mine!
A truly unique poignant story,
Which only the stars can tell,
The only noiseless witness,
Of love, and passion, of longing and compassion,
Of sadness and deprivation,
Of a miraculous bondage!
Stars blink,
The clock ticks,
My heart bleeds!
