Start
My origin was unknown to me,
No mainspring in my mind;
Mesmerised by mundanity
I blanked the grave maturity
Of growth, and stumbled blind.
I met the light and it met me,
Erupted in my eyes;
A rage of sensitivity,
Bonfire with proclivity
To force my life arise.
Her warmth and beauty rescued me,
Cleaved the bleak aside;
And I, a challenged prodigy
Responded to her willingly,
The world split open wide.
The start of finding more of me,
Not splinters incomplete;
The pall dispersing energy
Revealed a golden synergy
And knocked me off my feet.
