The Good Life
I never knew we could fly so high,
Higher than the expanding sky.
In this troubled world we met,
Which I shall never ever regret.
I write this poem just for you,
To express my love in which I do.
Melting diamonds scattered about,
When acorns fall a tree will sprout.
Blue Jays may come and nest within,
While we build a cabin and begin.
A new horizon we’ll gaze upon,
Loving our lives as we live on.
