With a heart full of hope
My smile spreads the whispers
Of thoughts so brilliant
Inspirations and visions clinging
To the music of a kindness
Brought to life by my insight
Comprehension of a experience
A moment in time, a sigh
Silence brought alive on the night
Within the spirit who denies
Brokenness or sorrow, pain
That shadows their heart, imagines
These gestures of faith portray
A second chance, a new day
The way toward joy and renewal
Hope…
With a heart full of light
Caressing the stardust dreams
Igniting the faith and peace
Bursting through the worries
The needs – fears and laments
Mourning that will only believe
Ballads howling grief, darkness
Poured out on the feelings
Who need only be graced by the
Reflections of promises, revelations
Throwing praise hovering on the skies
Emptying the mind of its ties
To anguish, aching disgrace
Suffering that fades to a dance
With fate
With a heart full of gentle faith
There comes the vibrant dream
Of life beyond grief and pain
Life that is lived in the presence
Of a Savior who makes every hurt
Seem like it will be extinguished
By His amazing love, His compassion
The feeling of absolute escape
From every darkness, each dreadful
Trouble or concern, every angst
Through His love there comes a calm
A quiet light that falls soft against
The moment, the day, the time
When hearts seem to be fighting
For a opportunity to reach out with hope
Find the warmth that covers the heart
With a pure, sweet love beyond dreams
A love so amazing it bleeds light into
The one who needs to know this is
God’s gift, come to life inside the prayer
For a heart who is giving and living
To color someone’s life in tenderness
With a heart who gives and listens
To the one who is in need, the one who grieves
There comes assurance that Jesus is
Alive inside, giving His answers through this friendship
