The Love Story of Kacha and Devayani- 4
Kacha
Yes I know
What you are saying
Is absolutely
True Devayani
But you are not
trying
To understand
That my memories
Of these wonderful
moments
Are betraying me
When I try to recall
them. 09
It has put me
In a perplexed
situation
Dear friend
On the one hand
The idea of the
gained knowledge
Is constantly
disturbing my mind
As it is undoubtedly
The rarest amongst
All the rare things
And an achievement
Which any one would
like to dream
And for which
One would like to
live
And would even love
to die. 10
Such a lofty
knowledge
Has been gained by
me
Because of you only
Dear Devayani
To accomplish
Some greater causes
And it is because of
that need
I seek your
permission
To leave this
wonderful place
Dear Devayani.11
Devayani
Try to recall Kacha
The day
When you first
reached here
From heaven as a
teenage boy
When I was playing
In the garden with
my friends
And you requested me
To take you
To Guru Sukracharya*
Without knowing
That he was my
father. 12
You wanted to become
his disciple
So that you may
learn
From him
The secret knowledge
Of reviving the
dead,
But my father
Had flatly refused
To impart that
knowledge
To you
Because you were a
representative
Of Gods. 13
