Love Poem: The memory

The memory

With the teary eyes, a smile also erupted for free.....
Maybe it was the effect of a memory....

A memory of maybe your voice that used to give me life.....
A memory of maybe your texts that helped me survive.....

A memory of maybe your red lips, or the curly black hair or those romantic blue eyes.....
Which showed a sort of illusory truth covered with sweet lies....

I was a fool in love then, i am a fool in memories too....
I cant understand, where i failed to woo you?

I thought, we were meant for a lifelong never ending love....
Like the pairs of swan or sparrows or pigeons or cute dove....

I thought, i believed you will always be near to me.....
Never imagined, you will soon become a memory.....

Those happy moments and your calls still thrill the heart's beat and pulse ...
And your anger, your comments, your taunts still bring the aggressive emotional impulse.....

But i am getting used to the pain slowly...
Realising it was meant to be this way only....

Trust me, darling, I was ready to fight everyone, to lead my love to the eternal light....
I was ready to hold your hands forever, walk with yiu in gardens, keeping our hearts together, closer and tight....

But never knew what you actually thought about this flight....
Whether it was a sadistic pleasure for you or some terrible plight....

I jumped from the rationality and logic, feeling you were my parachute....
I am still in air, holding all those memories to the root.....

One day maybe you will also smile with a teary eye...
Maybe one day, my memory will aso flash in your eye.....

Maybe one day you will also figure out what happened and why?
Maybe one day you will also feel to laugh and then cry....

Thinking, we could hold on to tight....
And make our love stand right....
