Love Poem: The Moonlight Lovers

The Moonlight Lovers

They have waited for days for this time to come
As they always do
They made the most out from the tired sun
As they feel it's true
They feel like they're alone in the world
Care less of the noises around
Talking about life, boring and bold
Everything in between of the deafening sound
After an hour or more of drama
They're now sharing a bed that feels like sauna
Laughing and teasing each other's nonsense
Like it all makes perfect sense
Now, the saddest part has arrived
It will now fetch the time they rented
How long will they survive
How far they will be tormented
As the sun began to gain its strength
As the roosters started whining
The pinching rays started to stretch its length
And so they do start the unwinding
Of those deep unexplainable feelings
They will now again face the reality
That they exist in the nothingness
They are back again to their inevitability
They will now have to feel unhappiness
Again and again and again

One black candle
Was lighted up
Untitled label
The sweet scent of lavender
With fresh mint in a cup
The half moon shines
Its soft rays dashing through
Lighting up just fine
Over the blinds of the window
They brightened up the faces
Of these two moonlight lovers
Enjoying each others silent stares
Wishing the night will never be over
But one has to bid goodbye
Even if the moon is not tired yet
One is left with teary eye
Trying not to covet
To beg to stay or to fly
It's sad
Heartbreaking
Sucks so bad!
The stars won't stop crying
And they both smell
That aroma from the morning
The piano songs are now turned off
Back to the white pillow, so soft
'till next time and long wait
Goodnight!
