That is where you reside..
Thousands and thousands of miles away..

As I gaze upon a shooting star..
I think of you..
You are my star..
That twinkles and gleams so vibrantly..
Shimmers ever so brightly..
When we parted ways..
I cried on your shoulder
We both embraced
Not wanting to ever let go..
Embracement with no separation..
The embrace was undone..
We said our goodbyes..
My heart fell to the ground..
As everything became silent
No sound there was..
Only there was a void..
Void empty..
Void hollow..
My love..
Eventually..
I picked my heart up from the ground..
Courage had entered
Strength had entered..
As they still remain..
So I do not lose my mind..
My love..
You reside on the other side of the universe..
For now..
Now..
My heart is intact..
As my heart yearns for you..

Space and time allows our separation..
Tremendous distance..
