The Shape of Bittersweet
I waited my whole life to find my man
I thought it would never be however
It happened one day like any other
Freaks of nature without a master plan
You had an aura calling out my name
That moment my soul knew I was complete
I had silent scars we'll call bittersweet
Society had cast us out in shame
I recognized you by your gentle eyes
A silent voice that spoke from heart to heart
I held you in my arms for just a flash
What cruel destiny of greed and lies
Would then align to tear us both apart
When you collapsed into a heap of ash
