The Sun Kissed Your Lips Before I
The sun kissed your lips before I
Trespassing in our dusky room
as night dressed a gown to die
embracing her glorious doom.
A smile rose and faded away,
Blessing you with a red fair,
My heart trembles as you sway
Carried by the unwanted pair.
A sigh grew within your bosom,
Moving with steady swiftness,
With no trace of sunrise poison:
My name given with keenness.
Then, I recall your sudden cry:
Love too, kissed you before I
